Melon Work Tape is much like an old work cassette tape you'd bring home after working in the studio. Work tapes can be a collection of your early takes or demos but ultimately they exist as a portfolio to showcase your ideas. I tried to capture my favorite sounds of the late 70's(Casiopea, George Duke, Taeko Ohnuki, etc.). I play every instrument on each track + some vocals here and there. I also mixed, mastered, and made the album art and inserts. It was a lot of fun bringing tracks and demos to life while I recorded in my tiny room for the past 2 months. I hope you enjoy my debut album, maybe it'll transport ya to somewhere you like :)
